Bio

Jessica Edwards has a broad background in the film industry. In 2010 she launched her own production and publicity company, Film First.

Her award winning first short documentary film SELTZER WORKS screened at film festivals around the country and aired on the PBS documentary series POV in 2010. Her current film TUGS premiered at the 2011 SXSW Film Festival before screening at festivals around the country.

Edwards graduated with a BFA in Cinema from Concordia University in her native Canada. She also holds a Masters in Media Studies from The New School in New York City. She lives in New York City.
